Hello, I bought some furniture at BIG LOTS about two years ago and I bought the extended warranty since, according to the seller, it covered any damage, and the warranty expires in 2021. So last week, my chaise sofa material was ripped and I called to use my guarantee and I got denied the claim because according to the "TECHNICIANS" the material was not ripped but the seam was separated. I am a seamstress and i KNOW the difference between a separated seam and a ripped material. I specifically pointed it out in the picture but still got denied. Even though on the warranty contract, it says that it covers any type of ripped material. So, I would HIGHLY advise you NOT TO BUY from BIG LOTS for any type of furniture or WASTE YOUR MONEY on the supposed "Extended Guarantees" because they are SCAMMERS! Because in order to get you to buy from them they would offer 'the skies and the stars' BUT It's a complete SCAM!
I am pissed. I purchased a sectional and a recliner and spent a pretty penny. I also purchased a warranty. I have a rip at the bottom of my couch. I knew something was up because I tried to register my warranty and could not on line. I called the number for the warranty and could not get a hold of anyone. Therefore, I called the store that I bought the furniture from only to be told to call customer service. When I contacted customer service I was on the phone for 1 hour. The customer service rep told me that my claim would not go through because the rip in my couch wasn't an accident. The seams are even coming apart. NEVER AGAIN will I buy furniture from Big Lots!

This is my 3rd online order this year. I'm constantly kicked off the site aned need to log onto my account again. Cancelled items NOt even emailed to notify me. I kept logging on. ANY promotional coupon shoud END when the stupid store closes not 11:59 est BECAUSE customer serive closes then also so you can't get any help and lose out on coupons, no matter how many times you close browser, log on, clean cookies and history. I think my 2 purchases before took 3 damn DAYS to complete. I was at war with the website and somwhow won. Even the cancelled- out of stick items magically appeared in 2 order on same day! So now i had another coupon AND my birthday coupon to use. Well apparently I kept shopping and editing my cart and now the pop up says I USED BOTH COUPONS! BUT I NEVER PLACED AN ACTUAL ORDER! Smoke is pouring out of my ears now. So my $10.00 birthday coupon is gone! Like wtf? Big lots website sucks! OH btw- most of the stuff you can buy on their website you CAN"T BUY in one of their actual stores! So you can't even get it in the store! Thye have the worst inventory control in a business I have even dealt with. The stuff's great if you can actually get the items you paid for to ship to your home which is what makes me try again like a stupid idiot. They get NO STAR RATING FROM ME!
The customer service is terrible at the McKinney, TX store. I called the store and the guy they transferred me to was no help and he didn't try to assist.
I am a customer who was in the store overheard another customer being childish inmature selfish. Who didn't appreciate customer assistance from the store associate. The customer was unhappy only because the associate was helping her out water in the basket. I feel she refused help because the childish customer wanted to take more than what she actually paid for.
I am a senior citizen and finally bought a new living room set from big lots and the couch made by Broyhill is sinking in on the arms and cushions. I am the only one sitting on the furniture because I am never home and with covid not many visitors. I think they should replace both Love seat and couch! I don't have anyone to take the couches back and pick up new ones!!

I've witnessed them treating their employees terribly. Managers here are a nightmare.
This is dollar store quality merchandise.
Do not recommend. Go to Walmart or Target instead.
Heck, go to a dollar store instead. A lot less of a toxic environment there.
The customer service is horrible. I didn't receive my package since April 16 but the delivery confirmation says it was delivered but it wasn't. I called several times to complain but every time I call I get disconnected. When I finally spoke to someone she said she would send a replacement but I'm still waiting on my replacement item. Biglots has terrible customer service. I will never order from them online again. #unhappycustomer
Bought a bedframe And memory foam mattress, The bedframe is stylish and great Sturdy quality, The memory foam mattress was a bit pricey but cheaper than others, it is awesome Super comfy, I see a lot of bad reviews on the furniture but to be honest the wood furniture from big lots It's low-quality that's why it's so cheap and you can see it for yourself at the store you just Gotta be the judge of what you buy by examining it, do you want good quality furniture you would have to pay thousands of dollars at a furniture store that will solve your problem, Need furniture for a few years then big lots your store just don't expect it to last more than five years on every day use.
Hello, I have tried multiple times to do a pick up order today with no success. The first problem I encountered were many items were showing as in stock but not adding to my cart. I spoke in a chat with Gladdy who told me to send the sku #'s which I did. She told me those items were not in stock at my store and were not showing as in stock. I told her I had screen shots, she then told me to call my store for assistance. I called my store and spoke to the manager who told me that if items showed as in stock and you can't add them it means that someone in the store has the last available item of that product in their cart? I then found some items available and tried to complete my order. I had everything selected for pick up, and after giving my name and address it would not let me go to phase 2 and give my payment, it said in red no shipping selected. I then talked to Gladdy on chat again who told me to call a phone number, which I did and spoke to Norman who was able to get me to phase 2 and I was able to give my card number, but it would then not let me go to phase 3 and complete my order, so I was unable to order any items after 3 hours of trying.
Norman told me he was sorry he could not get my order to go through and suggested trying 2 hours later, which I did and the order went through! Now I am getting emails saying my ordered items are no longer in stock! OMG! I am adding pics of in stock said items it would not let me add. You will see the first screenshot of my canceled items (which I did not request, they just cancelled them). Next are shots of items that show as in stock but you cannot add to cart at my store in Eau Claire Wi, 54701. I spent so much time trying to do this pick up order because they offer you a 15% discount for your first pick up order, which is an amazing deal if you can actually order anything. Whats sad is the items are still showing as in stock at my store, you can see the proof by going to biglots website and typing in the zipcode 54701 and try adding the items pictured to your cart. What a hoax!

Ordered a daybed with trundle. They charged my credit card right away. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything, I called to check the status of the order. First phone call (on hold for over an hour while they transferred me to multiple people) they tell me the bed was already delivered. Ummm, no, I'm pretty sure I would've noticed if that had occurred. They assure me they will get to the bottom of it and will definitely and easily resolve the problem and get in touch with me. Almost a week later I still haven't heard anything. Call them again and they tell me the same thing they told me in first call. Yeah, right. Still nothing. Called them a third time and learn the bed was "lost in transit" and they have no available stock to replace it. WTF! How do you lose a bed in transit? They dropped the ball... I don't believe they ever even shipped it. Will NOT order from them again. If I could give less review stars I would.
I wouldn't work for this place ever again in a thousand years. Promise things they cant give much less work you in the ground then take your pay that you earned over a 7month period. Expect you to do others jobs while others sit back and take it easy. I'll never shop with this store ever again. Work people and cant pay them. Feel for the other employees that arent in their little ring of goodie goodies
Big lots sucks!!! I'm so tired of buying stuff that takes 6 hours to put together or breaks within a few months. Take pride in your company and buy from the USA. I have bought over and over and don't know why. Everything sucks!!!!

It is semi-legit. I have shopped there many years. Lately, however, their prices have gone up but not their quality. They buy closeout lots of merchandise then resell them to consumers. Their prices should be lower. I won't shop there anymore.

I have shopped at Big Lots for many years In the past, they had the best prices for many items. Now, they have high prices for merchandise that is not even high quality and they don't stock anything that they don't buy as closeout lots.

Only during business hours and good luck. They all seem very busy and unable to help beyound try the website in a couple of hours if you can't complete your order.

You can contact them 7 days a week. I just called them on Sunday afternoon. 1 866 244 5687.
